ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT Softball team split a doubleheader with visiting St. John Fisher, bouncing back from a 9-0 (5 inn.) loss with a 3-2 victory, Wednesday. RIT 3, ST. JOHN FISHER 2 Sophomore Kate Carlone and first year Madison Passineau each logged RBI hits during a three-run first inning while senior Jessica Majot held the Cardinals to two runs (one earned) and struck out seven for the complete-game victory.
