Softball soars past Washington (Md.) in midweek slate
CHESTERTOWN, Md. – The Salisbury University softball program earned a midweek sweep over Washington College (Md.) Wednesday afternoon, taking game one 16-0 in five innings and securing a 13-6 win in game two. The Sea Gulls (12-8) used an offensive onslaught in game one to soar past the Shorewomen (5-15), 16-0 in run-rule fashion. Salisbury tallied one run in the first, six in the second, seven in the fourth, and two in the fifth to cruise to victory.
