Softball Falls to Delaware in Midweek Tilt
NEWARK, Del. 鈥� The Villanova softball team fell 5-2 to Delaware at the Delaware Diamond Wednesday night. The 'Cats (6-26) took an early lead, but the Blue Hens (15-17) scored five unanswered runs to take home the win. Sophia Mount (L, 0-2) got the start for VU, pitching three innings, striking out one, walking one and giving up five runs on seven hits. Mount took the loss.
