SAAC & Titans Have A Great Day With Special Olympics, Detroit Public Schools
DETROIT (3/25/2026) — The Titans and the Detroit Mercy Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) had a fun day on campus as they hosted over 80 kids from the Michigan Special Olympics and Detroit Public Schools. “Today was a truly meaningful day as we celebrated the Special Olympics alongside students from Detroit Public Schools,” said Director of Student-Athlete Services Betsey Walkowiak. “The atmosphere was filled with energy, encouragement, and genuine joy as athletes showcased their determination, teamwork, and spirit.
