Red Dragons overpower Bears to open SUNYAC play
CORTLAND, N.Y.鈥� SUNY Cortland (5-3, 1-0 SUNYAC) defeated the SUNY Potsdam women’s lacrosse team (2-5) 19-3 on Wednesday afternoon in the teams’ SUNYAC opener. INSIDE THE NUMBERS Junior midfielder Iohseriio Tabor (Akwesasne, N.Y./Salmon River) led the Bears with a goal and an assist. Senior captain Megan MacWilliams (Parishville, N.Y./Parishville-Hopkinton) and sophomore attack Jayla Thompson (Hogansburg, N.Y./Massena) also scored for the Bears.
