McFarland named to DIII Baseball Team of the Week
On Wednesday, Jackson McFarland was named to the DIII Baseball Team of the Week as an outfielder for his efforts over the weekend. McFarland led the Quakers in a four-game conference sweep of Rose-Hulman and Hanover this weekend. The junior posted a .636 batting average (7-11) with four home runs, eight RBI, nine runs scored, five walks and one steal. This is McFarland’s first Team of the Week honor. Earlham is slated to take on Franklin College in a three-game series this weekend starting at noon on Saturday.
