MISHAWAKA, Ind. (WNDU) - Marian High School boys basketball coach Robb Berger has been fired, he confirmed late today. Berger said the school’s principal fired him. The termination comes about two weeks after Berger served a one-game suspension for Marian’s regional championship game due to a repeated IHSAA violation. According to reporting partners at the South Bend Tribune, the suspension was self-imposed by Marian after a non-member of the Knights’ staff or roster was allowed to practice with the team.
