Knuckles Named CIAA Women鈥檚 Field Athlete of the Week
CHARLOTTE, NC - Claflin junior Jhnyia Knuckles was named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week, Tuesday afternoon. She earned the honor after a terrific start to the outdoor track & field season at the Black & Gold Invitational hosted by the University of Central Florida. Knuckles opened the season with a great showing in the women's triple jump. She recorded a 40' 5.5" (12.33m) mark at the meet. The distance is the second-best in the nation.
