Grinnell falls twice in wild doubleheader with Dubuque
GRINNELL, Iowa – In a doubleheader that featured games that were polar opposites, the University of Dubuque clipped the Grinnell College softball team Wednesday in the Pioneers’ season-opening home action. Dubuque won the opener 20-12 in a game that lasted more than 2-陆 hours and saw the teams combine for 27 hits and 19 walks. Grinnell had eight of those bases on balls, a figure that ranks 10th in program history.
