ATLANTA — Georgia State football's 2026 season opener against North Carolina A&T Aggies football has been moved to the evening of Friday, Sept. 4, with Friday Night Fireworks returning to Center Parc Credit Union Stadium. The matchup was originally scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 5, but the change gives fans the opportunity to celebrate the start of the season before enjoying a long weekend for Labor Day.
