Gardner named CSC Academic All-District
SEWANEE, Tenn. 鈥� JD Gardner was named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District for the 2025-26 men’s basketball season, as announced by the organization. Garner earns his first honors after playing in all 26 games for the Tigers this season, with eight starts. The Lexington, S.C. native averaged 18.3 minutes a game this year, scoring 131 points with 74 rebounds, 23 assists, and 10 steals. To be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically with a minimum 3.5 grade-point average.
