Carthage 19, UW-Stevens Point 3 KENOSHA – The Carthage women’s lacrosse team returned to action Wednesday evening in a non-conference matchup against UW-Stevens Point. Controlling and dominating all four periods, the Firebirds swept the win over the Pointers from the start with early goals and balanced offensive attack throughout. FIRST PERIOD Carthage came out firing and set the tone early with a six-goal opening quarter.
