Evangel Football Announces Pair of Coach Hirings
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel University head football coach Chuck Hepola announced the full-time hiring of Ridge Murphy and Quinton Murphy on Monday. Both Murphys will join Evangel during the Spring of 2026. Ridge Murphy will be working on the offensive side of the ball, as an offensive line coach for the Valor, while Quinton Murphy will take over as a linebackers coach for Evangel. Ridge Murphy, a D’lberville, Mississippi native, comes to Evangel after coaching stops at Mississippi College, and most recently, Millsaps College, where he served as an assistant head coach last season.
