Diveley records 26 saves against 4-time defending NACC champs
MOUNT VERNON – Junior goalie Nathan Diveley notched a career-best 26 saves in Cornell’s 21-2 setback to four-time defending NACC champion Aurora in men’s lacrosse action Wednesday at Van Metre Field at Ash Park. Diveley faced 63 total shots from the Spartans (4-3 overall, 3-0 NACC) through three quarters before his work was done. He accumulated 19 saves in the opening 30 minutes and also finished with a team-high six ground balls.
