Carangelo Hits Grand Slam In Game One As Softball Splits With Plymouth State
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Karla Carangelo (Cheshire, Conn.) hit a grand slam in game one as the Albertus Magnus College softball team split a non-conference doubleheader against Plymouth State. The Falcons took game one 13-4 in five innings, before falling 10-4 in game two. Carangelo also had a double in game one two go with two runs and a career-high five RBI. Reilly Austin (Cumberland, R.I.) had four hits between the two games and scored three runs while driving in two.
