Bynes Named RMAC Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
CHADRON, Neb. 鈥� Chadron State triple jumper Chayton Bynes took home the first RMAC Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honor of 2025-26 after his record-breaking leap from CSC's initial outdoor meet this past weekend. Bynes jumped 15.73 meters (51 feet, 7.25 inches) last Friday at the Con Marshall Early Bird Meet held in Chadron. It was Bynes's first competition outdoors in 2025-26 after the Chadron native capped the indoor season with a third-place finish at the Division II Indoor National Championships and All-American honors.
