Borisov Named Big South Player of the Week
CHARLOTTE, N.C. 鈥� Longwood junior Daniel Borisov has been named Big South Conference Player of the Week in men's tennis, the league announced on Wednesday. Borisov helped the Lancers to a 2-1 week with road wins over Norfolk State and UNC Asheville, 6-1, and 5-2, respectively. The Dublin, Ireland native went 2-0 in singles and 2-1 in doubles for the week. Borisov also led No. 4 Wake Forest's Charlie Robertson at No. 1 singles, 7-5, 4-1 when that match went unfinished on Sunday.
