Zerfass Wins Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate, Golf Finishes Second
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. 鈥� Matt Zerfass took his second career victory at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate Monday as the Villanova golf team finished second overall in the event. Zerfass' win is his first spring win, and his 67 (-4) final round score was the best of his career. The senior tied with Navy's Jack Tarzy, with both garnishing champion honors for the tournament. Zerfass led the way for the 'Cats, shooting 208 (-5) in the two-day tournament. Ryan Pamer followed, finishing tied for ninth after a 214 (+1) at Golden Horseshoe. Pamer shot 73 (+2) Monday.
