Yessenaliyeva Named Landmark Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata women’s tennis standout Medina Yessenaliyeva was named Landmark Athlete of the Week after her strong performance against Marywood. She won at first singles (6-0, 6-1)and at first doubles (6-0) along with Celia Navarro de Torres, in the Eagles’ 5-2 win over the Pacers. This is Yessenaliyeva’s second Landmark Athlete of the Week award this season. Juniata returns to action this Wednesday against Penn State Altoona.
