By: Jera Henderson, Staff Writer Track and Field Recap: Mountaineers Open Outdoor Season with Strong Performances The Berea College Mountaineers women’s track and field team opened their outdoor season by traveling to Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond to compete in the EKU Spring Invitational on March 20, 2026. The women’s team brought fire to the track, posting several personal records and near personal bests. Top Performances at EKU Spring Invitational: Katerina Kovalevskaya captured 7th place in the Women’s 400 meters with a time of 1:01.38. Arianna Cooper placed 5th in the Women’s Triple Jump with a mark of 10.89 meters.…
