South Central Comes Up Just Short in Season Opener
South Central baseball hit the road to open their season on Monday and came up just short in a one run loss, 4-3, at Fairfield. After the Mules were able to score one run in each of the first two innings to take a 2-0 lead, South Central put two runners on base with one out in the top of the third inning. Back to back RBI singles from Hudson Moore and Garrett Shumate brought both of those runners in and the Cougars were tied up 2-2 with Fairfield.
