Shocker Trio Named to CSC Academic All-District Team
WICHITA 鈥� Wichita State women’s basketball players, Abby Cater , Taya Davis and Maimouna Sissoko , have been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon. The Academic All-District Team honors the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined accomplishments on the court and in the classroom. Cater, a graduate student from PG County, Md., led the Shockers in scoring, rebounding and steals, averaging 13.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.4 steals per game.
