Seth Newton Named to CSC Academic All-District Team
LINCOLN, Neb. 鈥� Nebraska Wesleyan men’s basketball senior guard Seth Newton (Ca帽on City, Colo.) has earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors, the organization announced Tuesday. The recognition marks the second consecutive year Newton has earned the award. To be eligible, student-athletes must hold sophomore academic standing or higher, carry a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA and serve as a key contributor to their team. Newton started all 25 games this season, averaging 8.8 points per game in 30.5 minutes per night.
