Santos & DeMeo Headed to NEWBA All-Star Game
NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – The New England Women’s Basketball Association (NEWBA) announced the 2026 NEWBA Senior All-Star Classic participants and UMass Dartmouth student-athletes Melanie DeMeo and Yasmine Santos have been selected. The game will be played at Smith College on Saturday, March 28 at 4:00pm. Spectators are welcome to attend and the game will be live streamed on the NEWMAC Sports Network. A guard from Mahopac, New York, DeMeo was an All-LEC Second Team selection after averaging 14.2 points per game as a starter in all 27 games for the Corsairs this season.
