Mona Shores racks up two baseball victories on a chilly day in Montague
LocalSportsJournal MONTAGUE – The Mona Shores baseball team didn’t let a little chilly weather affect their bats on Tuesday. The visiting Sailors swept a pair of non-league baseball games against Montague. Shores won the opener 19-7 and the nightcap, 9-3, in a game shortened by darkness. In the opener, Brayden Bennett earned the win on the mound in relief for the Sailors. He allowed four runs on just two hits while striking out four. The Sailors offense pounded out 15 hits.
