Kopec Homers as Baseball Falls to Marywood in Nonconference Tilt
SCRANTON, PA (March 24, 2026) — Despite a strong start to Tuesday afternoon’s road nonconference matchup at Marywood, the King’s College baseball team but could not slow the host’s midgame surge, falling to the Pacers 19-6. The Monarchs move to 3-11 on the season, while the Pacers improve to 10-6. Aydan Davis got the start on the mound for the Monarchs and worked through a scoreless first inning. After a hit batter to lead off the frame, Davis cleanly fielded a comebacker before inducing a pair of fly balls to strand the runner and keep the game level through one.…
