George Klatsky earns NESCAC Field Athlete of the Week honors
HADLEY, Mass. — Bates first-year George Klatsky is the NESCAC Men’s Field Athlete of the week, as announced Tuesday by the New England Small College Athletic Conference. Klatsky (Falmouth, Maine) unleashed a throw of 215-11 (65.82m) to take first place in the javelin on his second-to-last attempt of the day at the Emory Spring Break Classic. The toss breaks the previous Bates post-1984 record of 203-4, set by Tyler Harrington ’19 in 2017.
