Fields, Flowers Featured on Academic All-District Team
By: Joseph Hovey GREENWOOD, Ind. 鈥� Kennesaw State women’s basketball’s Kailyn Fields and Kaelyn Flowers each earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Women’s Basketball Academic All-District Team, the organization announced on Tuesday. The annual award recognizes student-athlete success on the court and in the classroom. Fields and Flowers become the program’s third and fourth athletes to receive the honor in KSU’s Division I era (2005-pres.). Amani Johnson was a two-time academic all-district recipient (2021-22, 2022-23), while Gabi Legister received the honor in 2022-23 as well.
