Eagles Fall in Doubleheader to MSJ
WILMORE, Ky. — The Asbury softball team (10-8, 0-2 CCS) fell in both games of a doubleheader to Mount. St. Joseph (11-7, 0-0 HCAC),11-3 and 8-2.Game One | MSJ 11, ASBURY 3 The Lions jumped out quickly, scoring two runs in the first and adding four more in the second to build a 6-1 lead. Mount St. Joseph broke the game open in the fourth inning with a five-run frame, extending the advantage to 11-1. The Eagles showed flashes offensively, recording five hits in the game.
