Hempstead, NY - Hofstra men's basketball student-athlete Cruz Davis has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. Davis, a native of Plano, Texas, carries a 3.63 grade-point average as a liberal arts major. Davis earned numerous accolades this season, including being named CAA Player of the Year and CAA Scholar-Athlete of the Year in men's basketball. This season, Davis averaged team highs of 20.1 points and 4.7 assists per game. He appeared in all 35 games and averaged 37.9 minutes per game.
