Colonels Fall Short in Close Matches against Cards
THIBODAUX, La. 鈥� The Nicholls State University women’s tennis team came up just short in a pair of tightly contested Southland Conference matches, dropping consecutive 4-3 decisions to UIW and Lamar on Saturday and Monday at the Thibodaux Regional Sports Complex. On Saturday against UIW, the Colonels surrendered the doubles point but Jada Iverson and Julia Bordiginon came away victorious with a 6-4 win on the No. 3 court.
