DAVENPORT, Fla. – The Lawrence University baseball team erupted for 10 runs across the middle innings and used a balanced offensive attack to defeat Hamilton 12-6 on Tuesday at Northeast Regional Park. After Hamilton struck first in the opening inning and added two more in the third to take a 3-2 lead, the Vikings responded with steady offensive pressure and took control of the game behind a dominant stretch from the fifth through the eighth innings.
