Women鈥檚 Tennis Defeats Roanoke 6-1
LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph women’s tennis team hosted Roanoke on Monday afternoon in an ODAC matchup. The WildCats defeated the Maroons 6-1. The WildCats improve to 7-2 overall on the season and are 2-1 in conference play. The Maroons led 1-0 after the completion of doubles competition. Rachel Combs (Benbrook, Texas/Homeschool) and Amy Rigg (Charlottesville, Va./The Covenant School) won at second doubles 6-3. In the singles portion, Mikayla Smith (Pittsville, Md./Parkside HS) won 6-3, 6-3 against Raygan Wade at third singles. Rigg was a straight set winner over Morgan Tobey at fifth singles.
