Women’s Fencing Collects NFC Academic Awards
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The MIT women’s fencing team had 11 student-athletes earn a spot on the Northeast Fencing Conference (NFC) Academic All-Conference Team. In addition, the Engineers qualified for the team award for the sixth year in a row. To be eligible for the Academic All-Conference Team, a fencer must have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) at the conclusion of the fall semester (or the grading period that ends by January in the case of a non-semester grading period), include two consecutive marking periods, and the fencer must be on the roster at least…
