Welch Named A-10 Rookie of the Week
Washington, D.C. 鈥� Madison Welch earned Atlantic 10 Women’s Lacrosse Rookie of the Week honors following a record-setting performance in the draw circle, as announced Monday by the conference office. ATLANTIC 10 RELEASE Welch set a Duquesne single-game record with 15 draw controls in Saturday’s matchup against George Mason. It marked the second time this season she has broken the program’s single-game record after previously recording 14 draw controls in a win at Mercyhurst on Feb. 25.
