Watson Named d3hoops.com Region 2 Rookie of the Year
WORCESTER, Mass. 鈥� Clark University women’s basketball first-year Atiya Watson was named d3hoops.com Region 2 Rookie of the Year as announced earlier this week. Watson, from Los Angeles, Calif, earned her first d3hoops.com accolade of her career. The guard was named to the All-NEWMAC Second Team this season as well. D3hoops All-Region 2 Team Bri Frongillo (Emerson), Hannah Martin (Smith), and Sofia Neary (Salve Regina) also garnered All-Region honors.
