Walker Named Midwest Conference Positional Player of the Week
GRINNELL, Iowa 鈥� Nathan Walker has been named the Midwest Conference Baseball Positional Player of the Week, the league announced today. The weekly honor marks the first Midwest Conference Player of the Week recognition of Walker’s career. Walker, a junior for the Blueboys, earns the weekly honor after a strong week at the plate across five games for Illinois College. Walker finished the week 8-for-21 (.381) while scoring nine runs and driving in five RBIs. He also recorded three extra-base hits, including two home runs and a triple.
