Syracuse, NY 鈥� The State University of New York Athletic Conference announced its weekly award winners Monday with Hawks junior pitcher Michael Weed named to his first SUNYAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week accolade. The Pine Bush, NY native earned the start in Game 1 of the Hawks’ opening SUNYAC series Friday against Fredonia State and helped his team improve to 7-5 overall and 1-0 in conference play, while notching his first win of the year in an ace performance.
