Rams fall to Central in nonconference play at Ash Park
MOUNT VERNON – Central plated seven runs with two outs in a game-breaking fourth inning and defeated the host Rams, 12-2, in nonconference baseball action Monday night at Ash Park Field. Cornell moved to 8-8 on the season, while the Dutch climbed to 7-10. The Rams trailed 1-0 in the top of the fourth when Central strung together five two-out hits, including a grand slam that put the visitors ahead 8-0.
