Purchase Thwarted at Old Westbury
OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. – The Purchase College men’s volleyball team was defeated on the road Monday evening, falling to SUNY Old Westbury in four sets. Scores for the contest were 25-22, 25-22, 16-25 and 25-20. With the result, the Panthers of Purchase are now 8-11 overall and 7-2 in the Skyline Conference. For the Panthers of Old Westbury, they moved to 7-8 and 4-6, respectively. On the night, the visitors beat themselves as they finished with 29 hitting errors to just 14 for the hosts.
