Pioneer baseball team continues winning ways with sweep of Augsburg
GRINNELL, Iowa – After enduring a lengthy losing streak in recent weeks, there now seems to be no stopping the Grinnell College baseball team. Grinnell ran its winning streak to three games on a bright and sunny Monday afternoon at Pioneer Park, claiming their home-opener doubleheader against Augsburg University by scores of 6-3 and 4-3. The Pioneers used a thrilling comeback to win the second game, scoring twice in the bottom of the seventh to claim victory.
