Pezza, Noriega and 4x400m Relay Earn Weekly Little East Track and Field Awards
Providence, R.I.鈥� Rhode Island College sophomore Quiana Pezza (Cranston, R.I.) , freshman Naibel Noriega (Providence, R.I.) the Anchorwomen’s 4x400m relay team were recognized by the Little East for their respective performances at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational in Myrtle Beach, S.C. on March 19-21. Pezza was named the Little East Women’s Track Athlete of the Week. She finished fifth in the 4x400m relay (4:01.81), 12th in the 4x100m relay (48.95), 16th in the triple jump (10.77m), 26th in the long jump (5.14m), 28th in the 200m (25.53; personal bests ) and 41st in the 100m preliminaries (12.55).
