Newsom Named USTFCCCA Indoor Women鈥檚 Midwest Region Head Coach of the Year
NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana- Wartburg Director of Cross Country and Track and Field, and Head Track and Field Coach, Marcus Newsom , was named the USTFCCCA Indoor Women’s Head Coach of the Year for the Midwest region, the national organization announced. Newsom led the Knights to the team title at the American Rivers Conference Indoor Championships, scoring 216 points for a 67-point winning margin. Wartburg also had a 15 th -place team finish at the NCAA DIII Indoor Championships, earning 11 All-American honors.
