Mount Union鈥檚 Anna Weinel Named OAC Women鈥檚 Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
By: Casey Kropka WESTERVILLE, Ohio鈥擲ophomore Anna Weinel (Dayton / Chaminade-Julienne) was named the OAC women’s defensive player of the week on Monday afternoon (3/23). Weinel grabbed four groundballs, caused three turnovers and scored two goals for the Purple Raiders this weekend against Hope. This is the first time this season and in Weinel’s career earning the award. Mount Union will have its OAC opener this week taking on Baldwin Wallace at 7 pm in Kehres Stadium.
