McEntee, Ruiz Uben and 4x100m Relay Earn Weekly Little East Track and Field Awards
Providence, R.I.鈥� Rhode Island College sophomore Jack McEntee (Foster, R.I.) , freshman Marcos Ruiz Uben (Westerly, R.I.) and the Anchormen’s 4x100m relay team were recognized by the Little East for their respective performances at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational in Myrtle Beach, S.C. on March 19-21. McEntee was named the Little East Men’s Track Athlete of the Week. He finished third in the 400m open (51.43), sixth in the 400m hurdles (55.15; personal best ), 12th in the 4x400m relay (3:25.39) and 13th in the 4x100m relay (42.66).
