Kento Iwahara Named SCAC Player of the Week
Clarksville, Ark. 鈥� University of the Ozarks tennis player Kento Iwahara was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday. Iwahara, a senior from Fukuoka, Japan, went 2-0 at No. 1 singles to help the Eagles to an undefeated conference record (2-0) last week. Against LeTourneau, he defeated Zach Farris 7-5, 3-6, 6-1. The next day, Iwahara won 6-3, 6-1 against Raja Pandya from St. Thomas (Tex.), with both opponents posting higher UTR rankings than Iwahara.
