Guillermo Ochoa Valencia Shines with Runner-Up Finish as Men鈥檚 Golf Opens Spring Season at Carpetbagger Classic
URBANA, M.D. 鈥� The Wagner College men’s golf team began its season with a tenth-place finish at the Carpetbagger Classic, hosted by Binghamton at the Worthington Manor Golf Club. The Seahawks finished in tenth place out of 16 competing teams, carding a 23-over par 599 (305-294) following two rounds of action. Freshman Guillermo Ochoa Valencia led the Seahawks, recording a 6-under par 138 (70-68) and picked up six birdies to finish in second place, one stroke behind the leader.
