Golfers battle through chill on day one of Firekeeper Open
MAYETTA, Kan. 鈥� The Northwest Missouri State University women's golf team battled a chilly morning and completed 36 holes on day one of the 2026 Firekeeper Open hosted by Washburn University. The Bearcats are tied for seventh in the 13-team field following two rounds on Monday at the Firekeeper Golf Course. Lauren Briggs is Northwest's top golfer through the first two rounds.
