This comes after impressive pitching performances by each student-athlete, which helped lead their team to victory while shutting down the opponent. Nicolas Chernitsky posted his best start of the season this past Saturday in the team’s conference opener against Thiel, working a career-high eight innings and allowing just one run in a winning effort while throwing 4 K’s.
