Central women tripped up in tennis match
PELLA.鈥� The doubles point was the difference as the Central College women’s tennis lost 4-3 against Willamette University (Ore.) Monday. Hosting the Bearcats (3-10) on their weekend trip to Iowa, the Dutch (6-6) lost the crucial doubles point after winning just one of the three pairings. Sidney Peterson (freshman, Johnston) and Emily Blom (sophomore, Pella) teamed up for a 6-4 victory in the No. 3 spot. The two teams eventually split the six singles matches.
